“I think I heard that voice once before in a dream long ago.”

Made in less than a month for RPG Revolution’s apocalypse-themed game-making competition, Finding Eden is an action/adventure microgame set after the end of the world.

Being two of the last survivors of the collapse of society, you and your friend must struggle to make ends meet while your remaining lifespan ticks away – and the only way to recover it is to scavenge life-giving mana from the pockets of vitality that haven’t already been picked clean.

Hey I know I have a bit of a stupid question.
I’m at the crystal and I’m wondering how to supply it with mana.
I just know its obvious but I would appreciate it very much thank you.
Also Very nice game and atmosphere.

There are some events which you will need to trigger before you can do that.

Hi, I’ve played Vacant Sky Act I to III last year and it was amazing, I’m really looking forward to the new version…

Now I’ve tried to play Finding Eden, but I always get a “Stack to deep”-error after the first dialogue.

Do you know how to get the game running? I’ve got Win7 64 bit.

    Thanks in advance…

Hi, just tried and completed the game. Not bad, atmosphere wise, but the action, and difficulty seems slightly lacking. Is it supposed to be that way? Just some questions:

    1) How many endings are there though? I have 1 currently.
    2) On completion I got a title Confidant and Traveler. What do they do? How to get the rest?
    3) The garden like thing to the north-west, does it have any use?
    4) The house in the middle of the map, not the hut, does it have any use?
    5) The cut to ending is kind of weird. After passing the 2 mana in the correct place, you just teleport to the correct place?
    6) Snare seems pretty useless. Barrage is like the be all end all against all enemies… Am I supposed to to use the girl in blue to do everything?

Would be nice to have answers.

    Very nice game though.

    Good points –
    a) Very good atmosphere
    b) Engaging conversation
    c) Good flow of music and cut scene
    d) Simple and easy controls
    e) Nice character designs. But due to the short game, their character personalities are not fully fleshed out, it seems. Well, except for the girl in blue. The girl in red is like a hi, bye character with a stock personality or something.

I unknowingly put the blond-haired guy’s mana in the crystal instead of the door, and now I can’t open the latter. Do I have to restart, or what?

Never mind, thanks to someone who I assume was Bishop, I learned that there were stairs in the southern part of the caverns, which allowed me to continue. That church with the swamp behind it reminded me of Kotomine Kirei’s church from Fate/Stay Night for some reason. I was half expecting the Holy Grail to pop out of there. Heh.
